Katy Jones has a unique skill set, being the only professional trombonist in the UK who has both a Pharmacy Degree and Qualification to teach Buteyko Breathing. This knowledge and practical experience allows Katy to highlight what impact poor breathing habits can have on our lives, and communicate how we can help ourselves, through workshops, lectures or individually tailored sessions.

About

A professional trombonist for over 20 years, Katy has performed internationally at the highest level. She is also well known for her teaching and coaching as a frequent guest artist at International Brass Festivals.

Breathing

Anxiety, Asthma, snoring, sleep apnoea, palpitations, bloating and dizzy spells are just some of the symptoms potentially exacerbated by poor breathing technique. Breathing is free, with no known side effects!

Tuition

Lectures/Workshops can be tailored to any size of group, for any age or level from primary school to professionals. Individual sessions are also available to take at her studio in West Yorkshire.

“Learning from Katy’s workshop about the importance of breathing on other systems in the body has made me focus more on finding a ‘state’ where the body can function as efficiently and naturally as possible.”
